Helen is a partner of Mourant Ozannes and head of the employment team in Jersey where she leads the team and advises personally on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law. Helen is particularly called upon to work closely with senior HR professionals and leaders of business (often outside of the Island) to advise on the most sensitive employment issues where her ability to give pragmatic and strategic input at the highest level of the business is especially valued.
Helen builds close and trusted relationships with clients (including CEOs, MD’s, managing partners and board directors) who look to her for guidance on all aspects of their business locally. Helen also advises very senior individuals, directors and partners of law firms on their personal employment or partnership issues; reflecting the fact that she is seen as ‘the’ specialist employment lawyer in Jersey. Under Helen’s leadership, the team has also become the go to team in Jersey for on-shore Counsel.
