The workplace of tomorrow is likely to be a very different environment from the one we know today, and the trends that are shaping change will be the focus of what is likely to be a ‘must-attend’ event at this year’s Jersey Business Enterprise Week.
This year’s ‘The Future of Work .JE Conference’, of which the Jersey office of law firm Mourant Ozannes is a headline sponsor, will consider the business imperatives of employee health and wellbeing; the multi-generational workforce; benefits and pitfalls of technological advances; the importance of diversity in the workplace; and the knowledge and skills Jersey businesses need for a sustainable future.
One of the keynote speakers is Mourant Ozannes Partner and Head of Employment in Jersey, Helen Ruelle, who will lead a session entitled ‘Diversity at Work: A Business Essential – Why diversity opens minds and improves productivity’. Helen is an expert in the area, having spoken on the topic at numerous conferences in the Channel Islands and beyond and often providing comment on the issue in the media.
The programme aims to provide business leaders with essential insights, expert guidance and practical value with contributions from business and political speakers from the UK, Jersey and Guernsey.
Helen Ruelle said, “We are delighted to be a headline sponsor of this valuable and insightful conference which is truly making its mark on the island. This is a topic which every business, no matter how large or small, no matter which sector, needs to embrace. If you haven’t attended before, I would urge you to consider joining us this year; the programme is full of sessions which may have a wide impact for business leaders in a highly relevant area. I am really looking forward to the event”.
TheFutureofWork.je Conference takes place at Hotel De France on 20th May. Full details and booking are now available, click here to reserve your seat.
